Boo-Boo, you don't need much liquid added to the crockpot when you cook a whole chicken.  Just season it and toss it in...it falls off the bones.  YUM!

Sonya, hope you are better soon!  Benadryl knocks me out!

Lori!  Go have fun.  Who knows, he might be a really nice guy! Stop rolling those eyes at me!

My agenda for the day.  Run to the pharmacy.  Do my knee exercises. Chicken and rice for dinner. (Guess I could get that going now.) Already marked off the must do's from the list. Wishing for sunshine again because my yard is also a sponge.  Doodman (or Dudeman, whatever) was supposed to mow again...one last time...this week but he hasn't been able to.

Tomorrow's agenda...PT in the morning.  See my hairdresser in the afternoon!  Wooohoooo!  I need it badly!

Later!

You were both right about the chicken in the crockpot.  The chicken fell off the bones.  That's okay.  I separated out the bones and meat.  We had chicken, broccolli, and mac & cheese for dinner.  We'll have chicken noodle soup this weekend  Cheesy  The rain is coming back, and there's nothing like soup when it's cold and wet outside.

Today we are watching the granddaughters while their parents go to the teacher conference, and then we're all having lunch together.  It's Friday, payday, and our Friday off.   Grin

I'm sitting in Iowa, LA. Waiting for the rain, wind, and flash flood warnings to cease. I decided to spend another night here and wait this weather out. So I will spend my time learning how this forum works. Being retired is good. Witchy; I understand the sponge comment. Want to take my dog out to walk for me?

1. Finish carving pumpkins.
2. Secure 12 foot inflatable gargoyle.
3. Clear off pool table covered in, uh, laundry.
4. Give trick or treaters candy.

Neato - I hope you have some pictures! We haven't had a single Trick or Treater - of course we live way out in the country!

We had between 25 and 30 trick-or-treaters tonight, less by about 15 than last year.  It's not even raining here, but maybe more people are having parties since tomorrow isn't a school day.  I'm probably going to go to bed soon and read for a while.  I haven't slept well the last two night.
